We
offer preservation and access to your bound books and records into a
system that saves you time and money. We utilize face up scans that are
ideal for bound materials, eliminating repeated handling and avoiding
damage caused by pressing down on fragile bindings. We scan rare
books and convert the images to text files using OCR technology.
The oldest book we have successfully converted was printed in 1826.
Our precision
image editing eliminates center shadow and page curvature during open
book scans. Oversized materials up to 17x23 inches are no problem
either. Finally, we create files that can be printed, emailed, and
indexed for fast, remote retrieval by any number of people so your books
or bound volumes can also be easily shared.
We have assisted a state agency in successfully
meeting the NJ Division of Archives & Records Management standards for a certified
public records image processing system. |
